So what do household staff really want as a holiday gift given the choice? Well, with a huge 75% of the vote, their preferred gift would be some extra money over the festive season. That’s right, cash is the preferred gift for most of the household staff we surveyed, so if you are looking for the best way to say thank you, why not add a little holiday bonus to your employees?
The next best thing to receive as a holiday gift is the chance to take some extra time off with almost 12% asking for additional paid leave. Coming in very closely after with 10% of the vote was a gift card or voucher for their favourite store, beauty salon or restaurant so as you can see, what your household staff really want this festive season is the chance to relax with their nearest and dearest, or fit in some self-care.
