Our candidate network is selective — and intentionally so. The standard we hold is what gives your candidacy weight with the families we serve, and it is why the households we work with trust the introductions we make. The following are the baseline qualifications for representation by My Household Managed.
We represent experienced private service professionals only. If you are looking to enter the private household industry for the first time, we encourage you to gain direct experience in a private home before applying. We are not the right starting point — but we may be the right next step once you have the foundation.

Our application takes approximately 15 minutes. We review every submission and respond to every candidate — whether you are accepted into our network or not. There is no fee to candidates. You are paid directly by the family.

We do not ghost candidates
If you meet our minimum qualifications, you will hear from us. If you are introduced to a family and not selected to proceed, you will be told. Due to the volume of applications we receive to individual roles, we cannot provide updates to every applicant — but candidates in our network are never left without communication when it matters.
You will know where you stand
When you are shortlisted for a role, we will let you know. Timing in a private household search is deliberate — we present candidates when the moment is right, and we keep you informed as the process moves.
References are verified once
Reference fatigue is real in this industry. We conduct thorough reference checks one time during your screening — and we do not contact your references again for every new search. Their time is respected.
We only represent quality positions
Every role we accept has been scoped, structured, and confirmed to offer legally compliant employment, competitive compensation, and industry-standard benefits. We do not send you to households that are not ready to employ properly.
We advocate within the process
Before a role is ever posted, we pre-negotiate compensation to ensure it is market-competitive. During offers, we advise families on fair terms and reasonable expectations. Advocacy is built into the process — not performed after the fact.
Your profile is a professional asset
Accepted candidates receive access to an internal profile — a professional presence within our system where you can add your photo, credentials, and strengths in your own words. This profile is maintained over time, not rebuilt from scratch for each opportunity.

We do not require you to be actively searching. We require you to be qualified, professional, and serious about private service as a career. If that describes you, we want to know you exist.
Pre-screened candidates are prioritized
When a new search opens, candidates already in our network are the first we consider. Many roles are filled before they are ever posted publicly.
Your candidacy stays active
You do not need to reapply each time a new role opens. Your profile, references, and screening remain current in our system as long as your candidacy is in good standing.
