Enginehire is a software solution for nanny and domestic staffing agency owners that takes a personalized approach to solve the needs of busy agency owners. Their service, along with their amazing support team allows My Household Managed to have an online portal that makes our matchmaking process accurate and expedient.

As a business owner in the private service industry I am a HUGE fan of high-quality personalized service, and Enginehire provides exactly that. Enginehire allows us to provide better service to our clients by streamlining our processes and giving us a one-stop shop for everything our agency needs to function. Their software allows us to stay organized and not lose track of important information and details about where everyone is in the different stages of their lifecycle with our agency. It allows us to grow as an agency and allows us to provide better service to our candidates as they grow with us as well, giving them the option to update their profiles at any time as their resume expands.

I am extremely thankful for the team at Enginehire and the value that they continue to provide for My Household Managed.

Tell us more about Enginehire ? The story behind it? How it started, etc?

Enginehire is a Canadian based SaaS company that started about 7 years ago when I completed an engineering program in Toronto. Initially I created a software to help me and my friends find jobs after graduating and in the process I met a local nanny agency that was interested in the software. We worked with them for a couple of months helping us improve the platform. We were then able to connect with other staffing agencies that could benefit from the platform and now we work with over 200 childcare agencies!

Who are your customers?

Most of our customers are in the childcare industry, more specifically child care staffing agencies. We work with a pretty big community of talented business owners who are looking to grow and improve their business and we’re very grateful to be a part of it!

What services do you provide and in what locations?

Enginehire provides a digital platform for staffing agencies that helps automate and streamline their everyday business processes. The platform helps agencies post jobs, collect applications, get documents digitally signed, collect payments, schedule interviews, record notes, conduct reference checks and so much more. We work with companies all around the world, currently we have customers in the US, Canada, UK and Australia!

What’s next for Enginehire ? Any fun events or news you'd like to share?

We have been working on something that we are very excited to share called the Nanny Agency Directory. Basically it's a database of all the childcare agencies in the world. The idea behind it is to help families and nannies discover the agencies, and allows people to leave reviews which is a great way for agencies to show how great they are. We're hoping it will help drive more traffic to their businesses!

If you were to hire a household employee for your home, which type of employee would make your life easier and why, OR, if you already employ household staff, how have they provided value to you and your family?

If I were to hire a household employee, I think the two most important traits to have would be someone who is reliable and trustworthy. Sharing your home with someone else can be difficult so being able to trust and rely on the employee would make my life easier.
